Art update

ART UPDATE WEEK 8

This week I had been focusing on finishing my board 1 and then starting board 2. My theme is a girl grieving over her friend.

The latest drawing I have done is of a girl deep in asleep dreaming of her falling.

My artist inspiration for my board has mainly been focused around Lisa Reihana, Rinko Kawauch, and Shepard Fairey. Rinko Kawach focusing on poetic styles in her artwork, while Shepard Fairey using dark colors within his artwork. And lastly, Lisa Reihana using light or colorful colors in her work, as well as natural paintings.

My next step is to work on my next 3 pieces and the second board.

Term 3,Week 2 Art

I have been learning about the artist and their artwork for the last couple of weeks. I've gotten some weeks to plan on what I would like on my mood board. So I chose three artists and took some ideas out of their work and to put them into my work. My three artist models were, Rinko Kawachu, Lisa Reihana, and Sheppard Theory.
Sheppard Theory focuses on street art to do with peace and uses dark colors like black and white in his work which it is very cultural, and  Rinko Kawachu has a cool design she uses  Poetic style art which is nice for all ages then my last artist Lisa Reihanna she focuses on pacific art that is colorful natural I brought out an idea from their work which was, my work being around by the ages all age, I took the colorful natural out of Lisa Reihana work, then took Rinko Kawachu Realistic Poetic style and she deals with emotions, therefore when I got to Sheppherd theory I took his dark colors as well. So every artist and their work I took out ideas and used it in MINE

Weird crap - Drama

The Viewpoints of time and space

A view point of space is using the space

A view point of time is kineasthetic reponse

Some of  the things we did in class.

The viewpoints was dancing , playing games , statue game - a group would go on the stage and do a pose while the audience talk about what they are doing.  In practice we done lanes , stand , walk , junp and the kinaesthetic.

The Viewpoints, adapted for stage acting by Anne Bogart, are an improvisational system that trains an actor to use their body in time and space to create meaning. They are points of awareness that a performer or creator has while working. They provide a vocabulary for thinking about and acting upon movement and gesture. You & your fellow actors will make offers, accept offers, extend moments (such as repeating a gesture or a shape) and advance the scene. It is through this improvisation that you will create dramatic meaning.

Grit = Resilient

The Nine Viewpoints:
View Points of space - Spatial Relationships
                                  - Architecture
                                  - Floor Pattern

Viewpoints of the Body Gesture - Shape

Viewpoints of Time      - Kinaesthetic reponse
                                     - Repetition
                                     - Duration
                                     - Tempo
