What was August´s one wish that he wanted? if you could change one thing about your appearance what would it be? 

He wished that he had a normal face., I don´t wish anything to change my appearance

What do you think it means to be Ordinary? What makes August's extraordinary? 

I think it means to be ordinary with You don´t have anything wrong with your body, August´s is different because of his appearance. And his face

How do people react when they see Auggie´s face? for the first time, how would you react? 

Disgust look on there face or Shocking, Scared. How i would react and to be honest i would be shocked asking question to whoever i´m with.


Augusts dad said, ¨So sending him off to middle school like a lamb going to the slaughter....´´
What does this mean? Explain! 

Maybe he more afraid of him getting picked on, and bullied

Would you send Auggie off to school if you were his mum or dad? Explain Why or Why not? 

Yes i would to see how he goes there, because it would be his first, and making new friends.




What white lie did August's mum tell? Why did she do it? Are white lies ok to tell?

Auggies mum lied about the entrance test he had to take the previous year, telling him it was an IQ test. She lied so he wouldn't freak out about going to school even if he didn't get in. 


Auggie decided he liked Mrs Garcia ‐ when she wasn’t wearing her shiny smile. What is a 'shiny smile'?

How does Auggie know the first time he meets Julian that he will be a bully? What are some of the ways that Julian bullies Auggie? How does Auggie respond?

Auggie knows that Julian because of the way he acts around Auggie and the way he treats him. Julian shows this by doing things like asking him rude, inconsiderate, inappropriate and personal questions, purposefully tripping him up, and mostly being a bully etc

Star Wars is one of Auggie’s passions. Why do you think this is? Do you see any reasons for Auggie to identify with these characters, or to aspire to be like them? 

He is like the characters in Star Wars, Auggie isn't exactly normal and has deformities that set him aside from other people around him. Auggie probably likes how they have different appearances 
and he admires that.

What questions did Julian ask August and why did August want to slide under the desk? Explain why Julian asked those questions?

Julian asked auggie about star wars, And More likely about Darth Sidious Julian asked the question because, Like auggie had a deformed face

Mr Browne’s September Precept was 'When given the choice between being right or being kind, choose kind'. Do you agree with this precept? Explain.

Yes, Depends on the situation that youŕ in,  Definitely choose kind. But you nothing can tell you, you can´t choose both.  When given the choice, why not be right in a kind way?


In the chapter One to Ten, August is feeling mad with his mother but he's not sure why. Explain why you think he was mad?

Hmm because she was treating him a like a baby, which, auggie didn't like, he probably wanted to feel grown up.

August invited his whole class to his birthday party but not many kids came. Why do you think they didn't go?
Maybe because they was still afraid of him. Or just scared to be looked down on by people who
were not like him, by this i mean If they went to his birthday party. People would start to think that they are his friend´s and would not want to hang out with em.


August says he has an 'Aversion' to getting his picture taken. What is an aversion? Why does Auggie have an aversion to having his picture taken?

An aversion is a hatred, or strong disliking, towards something. He has an aversion because he is self-conscious of his appearance. 

Why does no one want to touch August? How do you think this makes him feel?
They think he is Contagious and weird. It probably make´s him feel Left out. 


Did your opinion of Jack Will change after August overheard him talking to Julian? Explain.


Yes, but later on, I believe that jack only said those thing to act like he doesn´t like auggie, So he can make sure the popular kids actually likes him. He was trying to fit in. I think it is cool 

Do you think August will go back to school? Predict what will happen next?

He would go back to school. Even though all of the things that been troubling him

Not sure on that one.

In at least a paragraph, describe the challenges do you think Via might face being Auggie’s sister?
Via Is going through alot, her parents don't give her much attention. Even on time's when she does get a chance with her parents, she doesn't say anything

Via says “August is the Sun.” Explain what she means and why she feels this way?

She means everything revolves around August since in space everything orbits the sun. Like their parents are surrounded by him, this could mean that Via is Mad, Upset or Jealous

Do you agree with Via that she and her parents have made a mistake by always trying to make August feel like he is normal? Is this a problem? Explain.

Yes, because August parents, dont give her attention or spend time with her. Like her sport matches Or need help with homework, Or achievements. They have spent so much time with Auggie that they have missed most of her Achievements

Why does Via go by Olivia at high school? 
Because everyone that she know's always call her Olivia, Such as Mum,Dad Her best friend. 

How is Via finding a high school?

Good and Bad at the same time. She could have Bad days and really good ones.

What are the odds of Via having a child that looks like August? Do you think these are good odds? Explain.

Explore the character, Miranda?

Miranda is a character who has a Complicated life. She has Problems with her friendships and she has a nice and caring spot. She went camping over the summer and came back with new friends and a new person. I think Miranda is missing Via but finding it hard.
Why did she call August at the end of Part 2? Explain.

Miranda might be still missing Via So she did it over the phone so i wouldn't be that awkward on the phone

What do you think will happen to August when he returns to school? 

I think he would go back either way,  even though a lot is happening to him, He might sit with summer at lunch, or find new friends.
